France needs change and change just got its name a few month ago: ALTERNATIVE LIBERALE. Now change has a face: Edouard Fillias, who is candidate to the French presidential elections to come.

Edouard Fillias, the only French classical liberal candidate to the next presidential elections, will be speaking at the prestigious University of Cambridge on November 18, 2006.

To French expatriates' ears, what he will tell might sound completely new. But some British people may recognize something… like an homage to a Lady, a Lady who put UK back on its feet.

Edouard Fillias does not come from the usual politician French crowd. There is something special, different with him: he is young, he is an "entrepreneur" (a French word, please) who cannot count on a "job-for-life". He did not study at the "ready-to-cook" political school named l'ENA ("National School of Administration"), but he studied both political science and economics and finance: in a word, he is from a new specie in French politics, a specie that can speak to the "elite" and in the same time understands the people's needs.

Some of you might remember that he founded the very first grass-root classical liberal civil movement in France 4 years ago, Liberté Chérie. At age 23, Edouard Fillias was able to put more than 80.000 French citizens in the streets to claim for more reforms.

At Cambridge on November 18, 2006, the outsider of French politics will introduce his ideas, his program, and render an homage to the lady that inspired him. A long time ago, a country was in disarray. That country is back. That country has a name: United Kingdom. Let's have France, for once, admire the Brits.
